SIVASAGAR
Applications with complete bio-data and supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards are invited from candidates having qualification, experience etc. As specified below for the post of Principal in Swahid Maniram Dewan (SMD) College. Charing, Sivasagar.
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized university.
2. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned / Allied relevant discipline (s) with evidence of published work and research guidance.
3. Associate Professor / Professor with a total experience of Teaching / Research Administration in Universities / Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks in Graduate and Master Degree level (in both traditional and grade point system) is admissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently Abled categories.
6. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
7. Upper age limit is 55 years as on 01.01.2015, SC/ST candidates shall be entitled to a concession of three years.
Applications should be filled-up in the prescribed Proforma issued by the DHE, Assam and send / submit their application to the President. Governing Body, Swahid Maniram Dewan (SMD) College, Charing, Sivasagar-785661, Assam, within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisementalongwith a none refundable A/C Payee Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- drawn in favour of Principal-in-Charge & Secretary, Swahid Maniram Dewan (SMD) College, Charing, Sivasagar payable at Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Charing Branch. Call letters for the interview will be issued to the eligible candidates in due course of time.
No TA/DA will be paid called for interview.
NB: Incomplete/defective applications will be rejected at the time of scrutiny and no call letter will be issued to such applicants.
