Walk in Interview for JRF at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati-781039, Assam
Applications are invited for two posts of JRF in DST-sponsored projects entitled “Evaluation and Enhancement of Seismic Capacity of Assam- type Housing”, and “Seismic Design Criteria for RC Structures Considering Mainshock - Aftershock Sequence for Northeastern India” at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis for one year and extendable up to three years upon satisfactory performance.
Minimum Qualification and Experience : B. Tech. or B.E.in Civil Engineering
Pay: Basic: Rs. 16000/ - for first two years and Rs. 18000/- for the 3rd year +20% HRA and 1000/-
Medical Allowance as per IITG rules.
Candidates are required to report in Conference Room of Civil Engineering Department, IIT Guwahati on 16 July 2014 at 9:30 AM. Candidates should bring detailed CV along with original & photocopies of relevant documents and two passport size photographs. An advance copy of CV may be sent by e-mail ([email protected] and [email protected]) to Dr. Hemant B. Kaushik and Dr. Sandip Das.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
