SITUATION VACANT
Applications stating complete Bio-data with supporting and attested testimonials from the H.S.L.C. examination onwards are invited, in pursuance of DHEs letter No. G(B)AC/Per/70/2015/03 dated 03.03.2015, from candidates having qualification, experience etc. as specified below for the post of Principal in Puthimari College, Soneswar, Kamrup (R), Assam against regular vacancy in the UGC Scale of Pay.
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale when ever grading system is followed) from a recognized university.
2. A Ph. D Degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline(s) from a recognized university or equivalent institution with evidence of published work and research guidance.
3. Associate Professor/ Professor with a total experience of 15 years of teaching/ research/ administration in universities/ colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance Based Appraisal in Appendix-III for direct recruitment in colleges.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks in graduate and Master Degree (in both traditional and grade point system) is admissible to candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ differently abled categories based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace marks procedures.
6. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph. D. Degree holders, who obtained their Masters Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
7. Upper age limit of 55 years as per government notification No. DHE17/2013/3 dated 26th December, 2013.
Applicants should fill in the prescribed proforma issued by the DHE, Assam and send/ submit their application in sealed envelope to the Principal I/C and Secretary, Puthimari College, P.O.- Soneswar, Dist.- Kamrup (R), Assam, PIN- 781382 within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement along with a Demand Draft (non refundable) Rs. 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred only) drawn in favour of Principal I/C and Secretary, Puthimari College, Soneswar, payable at SBI, Soneswar Branch as processing fee.
Applications of under-qualified candidates and incomplete/defective applications will be summarily rejected.
Call letters for the interview will be issued to the eligible candidates in due course of time.
N.B.:- Original documents must be submitted at the time of interview.
Candidates are not entitled to any T.A. and D.A.
