The requisite qualifications of the candidates as per Govt. Guidelines vide
No. AHE 364 2011 20 dtd. 17.11.2011 & AHE- 56/2013/Pt-1, dtd. 14.08.2013 are :
1. Master degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point scale (where grading system is followed) from a recognised University.
2. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/ relevant discipline(s) in the Institution concerned with evidence of published works and research guidance.
3. Associate Professor/Professor with total experience of 15 years of Teaching Research/ Administration in University/Colleges and other Institution of Higher Education.
4. A minimum API (Academic Performance Indicator) score of 160 only.
5. A relaxation of 5% in Graduate and Master Degree level (in both traditional and grade point system is admissible to candidates belongs to SC/ST/Differently able categories.
6. A relaxation of 5% marks is also admissible to candidate who obtained Master’s Degree prior to 19th September/1991.
7. Age of candidate should not exceed 55 years as on 01.06.2015.
