Post of Librarian in Pragjyotish College, Guwahati, Assam
PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE, SANTIPUR, GUWAHATI – 781009, ASSAM, INDIA
Applications are invited for the post of a Librarian from eligible candidates having UGC norms with NET/SET degree as mandatory required qualification in the revised Pay Band+AGP Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP 6000 with other allowances as per rule as admissible time to time. Candidates who have obtained M.Phil degree on or before 10.07.2009 may also apply for the post excluding the candidate obtained M.Phil/Ph.D degree off campus centre. However, candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/ SET.
Applications are to be accompanied by attested copies of all relevant testimonials from HSLC Examination onwards inclusive of all documentary evidences relating to ones proficiency in ICT bases Library Management System, working experiences and training etc.
The age of a candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2015 and relax able upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
The candidates must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know local languages.
Application must be accompanied by Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (nonrefundable) in favour of the Principal, Pragjyotish College, Guwahati payable at SBI, West Guwahati Branch and should reach the college within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement (Publication of the advertisement : December 20, 2015).
No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates.
