Application in standard form as published in part IX of the Assam Gazette are invited from the intending candidates who are bonafide citizen of India vide article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following post lying vacant under the amalgamated establishment of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao, Haflong.

2. Age : A candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2014. Upper age limit is relaxable in case in case of SC/ST and other reserved category candidates as per Govt. instruction issued from time to time.

3. Application must be accompanied with the following :

a) Self attested photo copy of all testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste certificate (as the case may be), employment registration certificate, citizen proof certificate (Certified copy of Electoral/Ration Card) etc.

b) A candidate should attach 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by himself/herself on the front side. 1(one) copy of photograph is to be pasted (not stapled) on the right hand top corner of the application form and to be signed by the candidate in such a way that the part of the signature falls on the photograph and a part on the application form. Another 2 (two) copies should be attached in loose.

c) 1 (one) self-addressed envelop of 5 cm x 11cm affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5.00 only.

4.  Selection procedure :-

Candidate shall have to appear for the following written test :

a)      For Stenographer : Dictation (Shorthand)

Candidate who will qualify for dictation test will have to appear for an interview.

b)      For Junior Assistant : The selection will be made on the absis of written examination comprising following subjects –

Precis – 100 marks

General English -100 marks

Drafting – 100 marks

Candidate who will qualify the written examination shall have to appear for an interview.

c)      For Interpreter : Viva-voce Test

5. Venue for receipt of application : Application along with supporting documents shall be received in the Public Facilitation Centre of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao, Haflong (New Court Building) by hand or by post during working hours within the stipulated date.
6. Last date of receipt of application : 20-01-2014
7. Application sent by post should reach on or before 20/02/2014 and no application shall be entertained after the last date of receipt.
8. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in interview.
9. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.

Note : Govt. servant joining service on or after 01/02/2005 shall be governed by New Pension Rule
