Grade-IV post vacant in the Directorate of Small Savings, Assam

Applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India for filling up the vacancies as indicated below in the cadre of Peon (Grade-IV) in the Directorate of Small Savings, Assam in the Scale of Pay of Pay Band-1, Rs.4560/- + Grade Pay of Rs.,1500/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.

NUMBER OF VACANCIES : 2 (TWO)

CATEGORY : GENERAL (Un-Reserved)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : CLASS-VIII

AGE : Candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, i.e, upto 43 years. In case of Government servant, the maximum age limit is relaxable upto 45 years inclusive of all age concessions.

HOW TO APPLY : A candidate must submit the following documents with his/her application duly filled in the prescribed form of application available in the Part-IX of the Assam Gazette and the envelope sending the application should be superscribed “Application for the Post of Peon (Grade-IV)” on the top right hand corner.

The candidate may send his/her application by post to the DIRECTOR OF SMALL SAVINGS, KAR BHAWAN COMPLEX, 5TH FLOOR, GANESHGURI, GUWAHATI-781006, or drop in the box placed in the Directorate within 16-11-2015 along with following documents:

(a) 3 copies of recent passport size photographs signed by the candidate

(b) one self-addressed pre-stamped(Rs. 5/-) envelope of 18cm X 27cm(approx)

(c) Self attested copies of testimonials

(d) Self attested copies of Age proof Certificate & valid Employment Exchange Registration Card.

 

CANDIDATES SENDING APPLICATION BY POST SHOULD ENSURE THAT THEIR APPLICATIONS REACH THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTORATE BY 16-11-2015, AFTER WHICH NO APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATION IN ANY WAY WILL SUMMARILY BE REJECTED.

 

Candidates with valid application will be called for VIVA-VOCE Test to be conducted as per decisions of the Selection Committee.

CANVASSING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY SHALL DISQUALIFY THE CANDIDATURE.

NO TA/DA WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATES APPEARING IN THE VIVA-VOCE TEST.
