- 1.Currently working with North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Ltd. (NERAMAC LTD), A Govt of India Enterprise, Under Ministry of DoNER (Development of North Eastern Region) as a contract employee since Oct` 2007 (completing 7 years in Oct `14) as Assistant Manager (Marketing) for the State of Assam. I am presently Officer Incharge for Zonal Office Assam and Meghalaya with the working profile of “General Manager” and running the affairs of my Zonal Office Assam & Meghalaya as per the mandate of the corporation as laid by the Ministry of DoNER. I am responsible for getting work orders from the State Govt Agriculture & Horticulture Departments for obtaining and executing work orders for the supply of Seeds, Fertilizers (Bio chemical and Pesticides), Green Houses (High Tech and Low cost Poly houses). Besides, preparation of procurement strategies and logistic plans from different States of North East, participating and organizing Expos (State and National level), new product line development, developing product packaging, product label designing as per GSR 664 GOI guidelines and FSSAI Rules, clustures development, market survey etc.
I am also representing NERAMAC Ltd as a resource person in Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati, National Institute for Agriculture Marketing (NIAM),under Ministry of Agriculture, Govt of India- Jaipur, Assam Horticulture Society, Khanapara-Guwahati, National Institute for Rural Development (NIRD), Khanapara-Guwahati, State Institute for Rural Development (SIRD), Khanapara-Guwahati, Assam State Agriculture Marketing Board (ASAMB), Ulubari-Guwahati, Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland, Coconut Development Board (CDB) etc. I was also promoting National Mission on Food Processing for the State of Meghalaya. I am also writing article in magazines on various Marketing related topics.
I have experience as “Corporate Guide” for the students doing their Projects on various topics under NERAMAC Ltd for their MBA`s and has guided students coming from Tezpur University, Assam University, Assam Institute of Management - Guwahati and Manipur University.
2. Before, I was working with “CLARA INTERNATIONAL”, Guwahati Branch for Two Years (2005-2007) as “Assistant Manager”. I was Responsible for sales of Imported Dermatological Products to the medical practitioners and to the retail chains. I was also responsible for Promotional activities through CME.
3. Earlier, I worked with Reliance Telecom Ltd. Guwahati as “Customer Care Executive-Sales and Retention” for Three Years (2003-2005) where I was responsible for Quality check for the Call Centre Executives, Retention of Valued Customers, Implementation of Marketing Schemes and Monitoring, Generating feedbacks from Customers, Market Survey.
