Vacancy in the amalgameted Establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Darrang (Assam)
In pursuance of Government approval vide No. GAG (B) 298/2013/11 dated the 13th August, 2014 applications are invited in Standard Form of Application in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette from the intending candidates who are citizens of India for recruitment of the below mentiioned posts in the amalgamated Establishment of Deputy Commissioner. Darrang in the usual pay band with Grade Pay mentioned against each and other usual allowances as admissible.
1). Eligibility Criteria for Driver
i Minimum Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C. or equivalent Examination passed from recognized Board.
ii. Technical Qualification: Valid driving Licence from Competent Authority.
iii. Age: 18 years to 38 years as on 1.1.2014. The upper age limit is relaxable as per existing rules in force for the reserved category.
iv. The candidate shall be required to appear in a viva-voice & practical test.
2). Eligibility Criteria for Peon, Chowkidar
i. Minimum qualification required: The candidates must have passed class VIII (eight) or its equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
ii. Age: 18 years to 38 years as on 1.1.2014. The upper age limit is relaxable as per existing rules in force for the reserved category.
3). 30% reservation for woman will be filled up as per Assam Women (Reservation of Vacancies in Services and Posts) Rules, 2005.
4). Reservation for people with disability will be covered by Q.M. No. ABP 144/95/110 dtd. 05.11.2011.
5). The Office maintains a 100-Point Roster Register as per Government Guidlines and posts reserved for SC, ST(P), ST(H) and OBC have already been filled up.
6). How to apply:
i. Candidates who are in Govt. Service should submit the applicatios through proper channel within the last date.
ii. The application should be addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, P.O. Mangaldai, Pin 784125, Dist- Darrang, Assam. A self addressed envelope affixing postage stamp worth Rs. 5/-, 3 (three) copies of recent pass port size photographs, attested copies of all educational/other testimonials. Cast certificates are to be enclosed along with the application and the envelope containing the application should be superscribed giving the name of the post applied for.
iii. The name of applicant must be registered in any Employment Exchange and details of registration is to be quoted at the appropriate column of the applicatiion form.
iv. Calling letter will be sent by post to the Canddiates in time, Date, Venue and time of interview will be mentioned in the calling letter. Candidates may collect the calling letters from DC’s Office (Personnel Branch) if they donot get the calling letter in time.
v. Last date of receipt of application is 08.01.2015. No application will be entertained after expiry of last date.
vi. Venue for viva-voce test will be notified through web-site of www.darrang.govt.in and by affixing in Notice Board of D.C.’s Office, Darrang.
7. i. List of disqualified candidates for the interview will be notified by affixing list of Notice Board of DC’s Office, Darrang.
ii. The appointees will be governed by the contributory New Pension Rule introduced by the Govt. of Assam.
iii. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify a canddiate.
