Engagement of Officer in Charges and Faculty Members at State & District Level under Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (RGPSA)

The State Institute of Rural Development, Assam invites applications for contractual engagement of the following staff on purely temporary basis for State Panchayat Resource Centre/Extension Training Centre/District Panchayat Resource Centre.

State Panchayat Resource Centre:
1. Incharge of the Centre in the rank of Professor, Post Code 01:
Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Political Science/Sociology/Development Studies from a recognized University with minimum 20 years experience in Development Sector/Planning/Teaching in a reputed organization. The person concerned should also be well versed in Local Self Government and allied matters. Applicant should be in the age range of 45-62 Years. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs.60,000/- to Rs.80,000/- to be fixed by negotiation.
2. Faculty Member (Rural Development), Post Code 02: Post
Graduate Degree in Economics /Education/Sociology/Rural Development/Development Studies/MSW/ M.Com in Accountancy from a recognized University with minimum 5 years working experience in Training, Teaching and Development Sector in reputed organization. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.25,000/- to be fixed by negotiation. The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years.
3. Faculty Member (PRI), Post Code 03:
Post Graduate Degree in Political Science from a recognized University with minimum 5 years experience in Training, Teaching, and Development Sector in reputed organisation. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.25,000/- to be fixed by negotiation. The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years.
4. Faculty Member (IT) Post Code 04:
M.Tech/MCA from a recognized university with minimum 5 years experience in reputed government organization. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.25,000/- to be fixed by negotiation. The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years.
5. Research Assistant, Post Code 05:
Graduate in Statistics/ Economics/Mathematics from a recognized university and Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institute with minimum 2 years experience. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs.12,000/- to Rs.15,000/- to be fixed by negotiation. The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years.

Extension Training Centres / District Panchayat Resource Centres:
6. Faculty Member (PR/RD), Post Code 06:
Post Graduate Degree in Political Science/Economics/Education/Sociology/Rural Development/Development Studies/MSW from a recognized University with minimum 3 years experience in Training and Teaching in reputed organization. Interested persons with B. Tech/MCA degree from recognized university with minimum 3 years working experience in reputed organization may also apply. Monthly fixed emolument will be paid on the basis of past experience and qualification which will be in the range of Rs. 18,000/- to Rs.20,000/- to be fixed by negotiation. The age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years.
7. Terms of engagement: The engagement will be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 1 (one) year.
8. Selection process: The engagement will be done on the recommendation of Selection Committee after observing the required formalities.
