Applications are invited by the undersigned with all testimonials and Biodata including Permanent Residential Certificate from the candidates for filling up the following two sanctioned posts of Assistant Professor in the Scale of Pay Rs. 15,600-39,100 + AGP 6000/- with other allowances as per rule as admissible from time to time.

(A) Assistant Professor, Assamese - 1 (one) Post, Reserved for OBC/MOBC

(B) Assistant Professor, Economics - 1 (one) Post, Reserved for STP (P)

Candidates must have latest UGC norms and NET/SLET/SET as mandatory required qualification. Candidates who have obtained M.Phill. degree on or before 10.07.2009 may also apply for the posts excluding the candidates obtained M.Phil./Ph.D Degree from off campus centre. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/ SET.

Applications must reach the undersigned within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this advertisement with a Bank Demand Draft, of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) payable at UBI, Chabua Branch drawn in favour of the Principal, D.D.R. College, Chabua.

The candidates must know the local language and should not be more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2015. Relaxation of age upto 5 years to the SC/ST candidates is admissible.
