EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates who are citizen of India ordinarily resident of Assam to fill up the following 10 (ten) Nos. of posts under the establishment of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sonitpur, Tezpur as per usual pay and allowances admissible under Rules.
Name of the Posts:
1. Process Server – 2 Nos. at Gohpur
2. Office Peon – 5 Nos. (4 Nos. at Gohpur and 1 No. at Tezpur)
3. Chowkider – 2 Nos. 1 day and 1 Night) - at Gohpur, Sonitpur.
4. Driver – 1 No. at Gohpur
Education qualification: VIII standard onwards. Candidates will have to submit their duly filled up standard application form within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this advertisement. After this period no application will be received by this office.
Age: A candidate should not be less than 18 (eighteen) years of age and more than 38 (thirty eight) years as on 01-01-2014. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST candidates.
Reservation: Reservation for ST (Hills/Plain)/SC/OBC/MOBC will be maintained as per existing Government Rules in force. Written test and vive-voce will be held for the post of Peon and Process Server. Driving test and viva-voce will be held for the post of Driver. Viva-voce will be held for the post of Chowkider. Application should be submitted in standard Application Form Part IX as published in the Assam Gazette along with Xerox copies of all testimonials and caste certificates etc. duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and two copies of recent passport size photograph. A Teasury challan of Rs.20.00 (Rupees twenty) only for general candidates and Rs.10.00 (Rupees ten) only for SC/ST candidates is to be deposited to the State Bank of India under the Head of Account No. “0070” Other Administrative Service” as examination fee for the post of Process Server/Office Peon/Chwokidar (Day and Night)/Driver in favour of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sonitpur, Tezpur. Candidates will have to enclose a self addressed envelope of size 24 cm x 12 cm, affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5.00 (Rupees five) only for communication. Canvassing directly or indirectly will be disqualifying a candidate.
