Ramkrishna Nagar College, Karimganj invites application for the post of Principal

Applications are invited from eligible candidates having latest requisite qualifications/norms as per UGC regulations 2010 and other Govt. Circulars for the post of the Principal in Ramkrishna Nagar College, Ramkrishna Nagar, Dist-Karimganj (Assam).Applications (Through proper Channel) in prescribed format(available in this college office) duly filled in with all relevant certificates/testimonials with a demand draft of Rs.700/- (Seven hundred) only drawn in favour of the Principal & Secretary,Ramkrishna Nagar College payable at Ramkrishna Nagar sent under Registered Post (Subscribing the envelope “Application for the post of Principal”) addressed to the President, Governing Body of the college must reach within 10 (Ten)days of publication of this advertisement.Age of the candidates should not be more than 50 years as on 01.01.2013 (as prescribed in the rule).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:-
1. A Master Degree with a least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) by recognized University.
2. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
3. Research guide-ship of distance mode will not be valid for applying for the post.
4. Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/Administration in Universities/Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
5. “A minimum score as stipulated in the academic performance Indicator(API) based performance based Appraisal in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges”.
6. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master Degree level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) Categories for the purpose ofeligibility and for assessing goodacademic record during directrecruitment. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on the only the qualifying marks without including any grace marks procedures.
7. A relaxation of 5% any be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders, who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19th Sept/1991 Separate Call letter will be issued to the eligible candidates.No TA/DA is admissible.
