SITUATION VACANT
In response to the DHE letter no. G(B)AC/permission/67/2015/16 dtd. Kahilipara, the 8th July, 2015 applications in duplicate are hereby invited for the post of regular Principal of Tinsukia Commerce College, Sripuria, Dist. Tinsukia, Assam, from candidates having valid norms as per UGC regulation no F. 3-1/2009 dt. 30/06/2010. Candidates desire to apply must follow and comply DHE letterno. G(B)AC/106/2014/17 dtd the 17th Sept. 2015 Candidates should submit their applications with complete Bio-Data and attested copies of all required testimonials from HSLC onwards along with the duly filled in prescribed proforma issued by the DHE, Assam and non-refundable account payee demand draft of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees two thousand) only to be drawn in favour of Principal, Tinsukia Commerce College, payable at Tinsukia within fifteen days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
The candidates must have qualification and experience as prescribed below :
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized university.
2. A Ph. D degree in concerned/ allied relevant discipline (s) with evidence of published work and research guidance.
3. Associate professor/Professor with a total experience of Teaching / Research Administration in University/ College and other institution of Higher Education.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) Based Appraisal in Appendix III for directrecruitment of Professors in Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks in Graduate and Master Degree level (in both traditional and grade point system) is admissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/differently abled categories.
6. A relaxation of 5% may provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Masters’ Degree prior to 19th Sept., 1991.
7. Upper age limit is 55 years as on 01/01/2015. SC/ST candidates shall be entitled to a concession of three years.
Call letters for the interview will be issued to the eligible candidates in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview. Incomplete/defective applications will be rejected at the time of scrutiny and no call will be issued to such applicants. Application should be addressed to The President, G.B.
