Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati invites application for the posts of JRF & Project Assistant

Applications are invited for 2 (Two) posts of JRF and 6 (six) posts of Project Assistant – 1 in a DST Sponsored R&D project entitled “Rural Hybrid Energy-Enterprise Systems (RHEES)” at the Centre for Energy, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year and may be extended further based on performance.
Minimum Qualification and Experience : JRF : One post is for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and another post for M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Project Assistant-1 : HSLC Pass
Candidate having experience in the field of Bio-Gas and handling of measuring instruments related to Biogas will be preferred.
Pay: JRF: Rs.12,000 p.m. HRA & Medical Facilities as per Institute rules.
Project Assistant : Rs. 5000/- per month (Consolidated)
