Barnagar College, Sorbhog (Barpeta) invites application for the posts of Assistant Professor in English and Economics

Apply within 15 days

Applications  along  with relevant  testimonials are  invited for filling up two posts of Assistant Professors  one  each  in English and Economics against temporary vacancy. The vacancy is for two years  and may  be  reduced  on condition. Candidates must have the latest UGC norms with NET/SLET/SET.  Those  who  have obtained M. Phil  degree  on  or before 10.07.2009 may also apply for  the  post  excluding  the candidates  obtained M.  Phil/Ph. D. degree  from off campus centre. Candidates who  are  or have  been  awarded  a  Ph.D. degree  in  accordance with  the UGC  (Minimum  standards  and procedure  for  award  of Ph.D. degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. The age of the candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2013 and  relaxable up  to 5 years  for SC/ST candidates. Candidates -who  are  in  service must  apply through proper channel or submit an NOC issued by the appropriate authority.Applications  along with  a bank draft of Rs. 500/- only drawn in  favour  of  the  Principal,Barnagar  College,  Sorbhog payable at SBI, Sorbhog branch should  reach  the  office  of  the undersigned within 15 days from the  date  of  publication  of  this advertisement.
