Applications with full bio-data (including contact No., if any) and all  testimonials  from  HSLC onwards,  including  PRC,  are invited from the eligible candidates for the following sanctioned posts of Assistant Professors (open) and accompanied by a Bank Draft of Rs. 1,500/-. (Rupees one thousand five hundred only), nonrefundable, in  favour  of  Principal,  Pandu College, Guwahati-12 payable at SBI, Maligaon Branch, must reach the undersigned within 10  (ten) days from the date of publication of  this  advertisement.  The candidates  in service must send their  application  through  proper channel  with  a  no  objection certificate  from  the  competent authority. The candidates will have to appear for interview if and when called for at their own cost.

The age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2015 and relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The candidates having latest UGC and State Govt. Rules & norms with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory required qualification. Candidates having M.Phil Degree on or before 10-07-2009 may also apply for the post  excluding  the  candidates obtained M.Phil/Ph.D Degree from off campus centre. The candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission  (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) regulation, 2009 may also apply.

The candidate must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)  and  must  know  local languages.

Salary as per revised pay band + AGP (Rs.  15,600- 39,100+AGP 6,000) with otherallowances as per rule as admissible time to time.
